Description
While working on the stuff for Mechacon, this little pic popped into my head: an image of Ni'Linya nursing her newborn son, Tyger. The birth was easy, but lonely. All she had to remember her Hunter by was their son, his pendant (safely tucked away in its coffer) and his amazing stories. So she began telling them to her little Tyger no sooner than they laid him in her arms. And then, for some reason, she felt much less lonely.
"Your father ... my Hunter, will always be with us, my little one," she said.
For those of you who want to know where this pic came from, please read my story, "The Hunter and the Tiger." It can be found here: [link]

A tender moment indeed, and so sad the little one will never see his father. Well-written and well-drawn; your story belongs in a professionaly-printed book on the shelves with the best.

Well ... Terry and I have plans regarding Tyger and his dad. Β When we get the webcomic rolling again, you'll see. Β Β Have you read the story associated with this pic?

I love this. Absolutely love it. The baby's curled up pose is just right, and you totally nailed the bittersweet expression in the mother's face. Well Done!

Pictures like this are heart warming. :3 This reminds me of what I have in mind for the main character in the Wanderer stories, the scenario where a human baby is found by a tribes woman or a female creature that raises the baby. I just feel that it will be appropriate. That baby is so cute, want's to touch little fuzzy ears. :3

Oh I read it, very nice, very nice indeed; had a nice bittersweet feel to it. Kinda ironic how we were talking about the mother/child bonding and this cute pic is posted. :3 heart warming.

Thanks. I was hoping to convey a lot of emotion in that drawing. Especially with the bittersweet ending of the story.

Yes. That is the purpose of our DA account: to get the word out for the upcoming webcomic. All our art is concept work and advertisements for it.

I love your stories. I've tried to write but can never make a coherent plot to tie all the awesome scenes I've thought up together.

I recommend making an outline first before you write, so that you can know what happens first, next, then last. Then start writing the story. And thanks for the kind words. I'm so glad you like my stories. Pegasus and I will be making more of them as the webcomic progresses, but we're trying to concentrate on getting the comic off the ground for now. It's a very exciting time for us.

Glad to see the story had an effect on you. I worked very hard to make it bittersweet.
