Description
I did this piece to break in my new monochrome markers, as well as to do a size comparison between Tyrya and Maria, since both are the results of Jakartan tech, but from radically different periods in history.

Maria is a ground tank, born in the Imperial crêches on the all-female world of Jakarta's pride, created to be an efficient and tough front-line soldier for the Second Imperium, until an ill-advised incursioninto Felyan space gave her an opportunityfor freedom, along with Miranda and Pip, her tactical and tech tank "sisters."

Tyrya, on the other hand, was born on the same world, but centuries prior, in the days of the First Imperium, before it was even known as Jakarta's Pride. In those days, before the chemical and bioweapons of the Imperium Wars wiped out all males and permanently mutated the genetics of the remaining female population, the world was governed by a tyrannical hyper-patriarchal government. But even then, it's knowledge of genetic manipulation was second to none. Females, kept as property were bred to the peak of beauty and fertility for wives of the wealthy merchant and priesthood castes, and for strength and ferocity for shock troops in the planetary defense. But Tyrya was bred for the harems of the aristocracy, blending the best of all worlds, until she was secretly courted and later rescued from that life by a Marshal of the First Imperium named Jason Moore. Their spacecraft, however, was crippled in the escape, leaving the cryo-tubes as their only chance of survival. With the distress beacon damaged, they drifted in space for centuries until a chance encounter with the Pirate captain Arshosha's Laughing Cat saved them from eternity in the frozen vacuum of space.
