Something I've been working on when I can't work on commissions.I've wanted to do something sweet for Haydn and Nila, since they haven't even been drawn together yet, and are supposed to be a couple. I have no idea what in the world Haydn is doing, apparently he's so nervous he's talking about his webbed feet or something....
Little fun fact: the brand on both of their swimsuits is "Ottsel" , a nod to both Jak & Dax, and Uncharted. (its hard to see it on Nila because its so small, trust me its there)
I feel like I put a LOT of effort into this, and I hope the final result reflects that. I spent about two hours on the background (thanks to feathers for helping me with the sky), and about 2-3 hours on the chars themselves. Overall, I'm very pleased with how this came out.

This is so adorable! Of course otters are such cute little creatures, and this pose is so playfully endearing! I think it's neat that the background almost seems "stamp-like" in its whimsical, cheery appearance. The main thing that I think needs a little more work is the ocean, mostly because the waves look a little strange, but everything else fits in so well! Wonderful job!!
