Even Scooby-Doo himself has had enough of that fiend David Zaslav's tax write-offs and change of plans relating to Warner Bros.- Discovery and HBO Max! First they cancel the "Scoob! Holiday Haunt" special meant for HBO Max. Then they cancel the "Scooby-Doo and the Haunted High-Rise" direct-to-video movie that would've featured the Hex Girls. Then they remove the older Scooby-Doo shows from HBO Max. And now the future of "Scooby-Doo! and the Mystery Pups", a spinoff CG-animated show meant for preschoolers, is in limbo! HBO Max doesn't want it anymore, and production has been halted. I know Cartoonito (the preschool block currently on Cartoon Network) is planning to run it, so there may be that. HBO Max has not been kind to franchises aimed at kids and families, possibly due to the HBO name generally not being associated with such content (even if they had the HBO Family channel), as the "Looney Tunes" have also been suffering from this merger that has become a big mess, with only "Velma" (that gritty adult animated series based on the Scooby franchise) doing pretty well. All Scooby can do now is hope things eventually turn out for the best...
