Description
Here's another fake custom Disney VHS cover I made. This time, it's a hypothetical one if they chose to release their controversial 1946 classic, "Song of the South," on video in North America. The timeframe for this one would be around 1990-1991, given the case artwork style. And since positive critical reviews of it from the 1980s were next to none, I instead added a disclaimer about outdated cultural stereotypes, to respect that. (Honestly, I find this movie no more racist than the crows in "Dumbo". And believe it or not, James Baskett, who played Uncle Remus and voiced Br'er Fox, actually voiced one of the crows!)
This has been created in memory of Splash Mountain (1989 - 2023).
