If I was forced to sing in that tavern, I'd go...
"Eugene, why did you eat my fries?
I bought them and they were mine,
But you ate them, yeah, you ate my fries,
And I cried, but you didn't see me cry.
"Eugene
How much do you hate me?
Well I wish you wouldn't show it
Because I would know it
"What kind of man eats someone's fries,
And doesn't evenΒ look him in the eyes?
Eugene, there were tears there.
If you saw them would you even care?"

Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitherbert: the only Disney man character that has to be forced to sing (unless you count the duet in the boat)

The unwritten constitution of Disney animated films:
1. If you are a parent with a child, you must die so that the child's story can be told.
2. You must sing at least one song.
3. If you're a villain you are either: Over the top evil, calm and sneaky, full on crazy.
4. If you're a villain you want the main or supporting character dead.
5. If you're a woman who wants more out of life than you are a princess.
6. If you are the main character you must end up with someone or resolve an issue you had with the other character(s).
7. There is at least one fight scene.
8. There must be some kind of comedic relief character.
9. One character (any one) must have some kind of accent that is more obvious than the others.
10. Magic in sort of way must be implemented into the story.
11. There must be one tragic or sad scene that affects the characters greatly.
and so much more.Β

He's the first ever Disney character to question and initially refuse random singing.

Well, technically Robert from Enchanted beat him to that punch, but if we're talking animated Disney folks, then yes indeed.Β

First Disney character EVER TO QUESTION & REFUSE TO BURST INTO SONG!!!
And then he becomes a hypocrite by the end of the movie . . .Β

Well technically, Robert from Enchanted beat him to it, but so far as animated classic characters go, yes. He broke the mold! Haha.Β

You're a leading man in a Disney movie, Rider. You don't get a choice in the matter. Luckily he figures this out by the time he's on his date with Rapunzel. *goes back to listen again because OMG SO PRETTY*

It's a Disney Film, 98% of the people actually have good singing voices. Not sure who the 2% is though. Oh wait, I know of 1 person, Zazu!
