Description
What started as an intoxicated “meet and greet” led to one of the wildest adventures that Phoenixx hadn’t expected to be on. With hormones and emotions all over the place, struggling to keep up with work and the lack of support she had with her immediate family not being present, it was a hard time. As she got more round with the soon arriving cubs, she was anxious to get it over with, and had been starting to get excited to work full duty again as a warden.

Once the hand crafted and personalised nest had been made for her extremely large size and tested with her excited approval, she was ready for the cubs to arrive. Constantly shaping and melding the bed, to best suit the arrival, while impatiently waiting for her cubs to join her and enter the world. But she didn’t have to wait too long.

Phoenixx had a hard time eating dinner that evening, really not feeling up for it. Strange behaviour coming from her, needing more food to keep up with regular activities along with feeding her unborn babies. She headed to bed early after spending a little time with Cerberus. She kneaded the bed for a while, trying to comfort herself and find rest, but found none. After hours of tossing and turning, not being able to fall asleep no matter how hard she tried.

In the early hours of the morning, while it was still dark out, Phoenixx started to feel uncomfortable, her body doing things on its own. Before she could fully realise it, she was having contractions. As she realised what was happening, excitement grew within her. Her babies were arriving! Everything moved quickly and smoothly, so focused on what was happening and the process that she hadn’t bothered to let anyone know.

After an easygoing labour, she watched her 6 little bundles of joy as they squirmed around. Completely amazed by their strength and movement, and entranced by her beautiful babies. She watched them with a curious and intrigued mind and open heart, already wanting the best in the world for them. Dreaming of the amazing things they could all accomplish, and them following their dreams, and supporting them however she could. Dreaming, and teaching them to protect and defend, and not growing up in a similar broken family as she had. Even though they had only just been born, she was dreaming for them as the sun began to rise. She knew well enough that as the sun rose for the beginning of the new day, the rest of the household would awake. It wouldn’t be long now, before their humans and feline housemates came in to check on her, seeing the miracles of these little bundles. She was excited for everyone to see her babies. She watched her cubs, waiting patiently for her friend, half sister, and the father to find out and arrive to help her choose the names for the most wondrous gifts of new life.

Phoenixx is welcoming her 6 beautiful cubs, naming them with Mythical themed names, with the help of the few closest to her. Her cubs; Kerberos (Polarfleets ), Viserion (Kylacloughley ), Asterion (Wolvereaux ), Manticore (littleharmonies ), Hydrath (NorthstarsRPG ), and Chimera (Forest7Echo ).

Welcome to the family! We had so many amazing tryouts and was it ever hard to choose. For those who didn’t win the tryouts, we would be more than excited and all for adopting your babies! Phoenixx’s motherly instincts are there, and she will grab any baby that she feels could use her love and protection! We would have picked all of you if we could, but sadly we couldn’t. Thank you all so much and trying out! Phoenixx is close to my heart and seeing so much love towards her and the possible further babies warmed my heart! I wish I could promise another litter from her, but sadly that’s not an option.
I’m so sorry for the late posting as irl stress, art burnout, writing burnout, art block, and stress from wanting to make sure it looked and sounded right, all crashed on me hard. Thank you all again for the tryouts and your patience with me, it is greatly appreciated! 💕
