First one I've seen that was flat-chested (Driders are always female). No wonder she has an attitude!

I am only familiar with the ones in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and they are all female Daedra. Your sources may vary.
(Also, in nature, male spiders are much smaller and weaker than the females.)

Driders were the tortured males of the Forgotten Realms of D&D. Any time a male dark elf pissed off a female dark elf, or worse, offended Lolth the spider Queen, they'd be turned into the drider, essentially emasculating the male by splicing him with a female spider to create a drider. Having female driders is new to the Elder Scrolls for fantasy, with the exception of the Spider Queen herself, who can take the form of a spider, drider, or full size spider at whim.
