Description
A quick concept illustration for my first Wavendreem's Garden story. Manticores are large and very dangerous beasts, in build somewhat like a lion, but with a face like that of a human, with a very large mouth filled with several rows of teeth. They have scaly tails with poisonous spines at the tip which they can shoot at you. They have bugle-like calls. This one has just entered the cell in which the wizard Elzaggio has been kept, after Valerie, Vivienne and Bridget had blown/burnt a hole in the wall with a dragon-saliva bomb. Will later do this in full colour, probably with modifications.
