This is my favorite animal at the whole zoo! During the millennium I'm totally going to hug one (if I did it now I'd probably get eaten... so I guess I'll wait)

Aww this is such an awesome zoo! I used to go all the time; but I'll be there more often soon because I'll be old enough to volunteer...
Great shot! It's rare to get a good shot of THAT animal; she's usually hiding. I like that it's kind of blurred. It makes her look cute!

No, it's because I was shooting through glass.

Yeah, the leopard was behaving really well. Most of the big cats hide in the backs of their exhibits...

Yeah, it was behaving really well for the camera that day. Most of the time the big cats act embarrassed when all the little kids press their faces up against the glass...

Well, at least you've glass at your zoo. In Artis Amsterdam, where I go for photographing, the big cats, except for the lions, are in barred cages, and the public is kept on a safe distance (of course) - worthless for photographers though!
no way to get a decent shot ...

Yeah, it really is - but they luckily do have many animal shelters and exhibitions that are more 'hotogenic'
- and I hope, maybe in the future, they will renovate the big cat-exhibitions too!

Yeah, it's too bad I couldn't get a good shot of the tiger or the lions... I love seeing big cats too
