Description
Kind of a relief sculpture of sorts. My work is in the center of the three. this was my final project for a class, now it's hanging up for about a month with the other 10 in an art gallery.
8 feet by 4 feet.
It's got to do with cannibalism, social cannibalism to be exact. And it's pretty much my personal vendetta against oil, and big business. They're going to kill our economy. I love the USA, but we're addicted to oil, and it's going to be our downfall.
This is my own personal attempt to get people thinking.
I've already got a few thinking at the reception.

Very interesting! It looks like it's part of an on-going collaboration, since the ends interlock with the opposite pieces. The arms made of gas-pumps and the way you replaced the flag's stars with oil drops are my favorite parts. Although I don't understand the concept of the two smaller figures in the middle, it's definitely solid in its message overall. And itβs a great subject that can relate to all types of people/viewers in these times when gas is $4+ a gallon. Good job

Hah thanks. For whatever reason. I never saw this comment. And it's gotta be the best thing I've ever heard about the piece.
Personally, I ended up hating this piece, it felt like it was never finished. Hell, it *looks* like it was never finished... A lot of them were never finished. There were 12 of them in all. I had images of all of them. But my computer's hard drive got whipped a few months back and I lost them all. It's a shame really, was a graduation project.

No problem lol ^_^ Wow June? And gas was $4+ At least it's gone down now a little...
And that sucks you lot the rest of them! I've had the same experience before with a load of music. Only half was backed-up and I lost the rest to that fried hard drive. It would have been neat to see the whole project of 12 in one long panoramic shot though.

Oh yeah that would have been amazing to see. But I don't think it could have been done with out just a load of photo editing. There was an 8 foot deep hallway, and that's what they were all chilling in unfortunately. Only place in the college that would fit them all. There were some really nice ones. For the people who could take 'em home and work on them whenever they wanted.
I had the issue of leaving mine at the college and going from there. It sucked...
