Well yeah in the Manga Nico is taken by the Marines and her Nakama are her "Last Hope" to be rescued.

This is my submission for the Theme "Last Hope". Took me this afternoon to make and i'm pretty satisfied with it. BradxKT's submission is here

The other epic moment was Pell's death. (i have purposefully removed the memory of him returning, it ruined the death scene...)
