This is a commissioned piece, it is exactly what the customer asked for. Perhaps you should find the merits in this piece, instead of picking it apart. I don't need to explain anything, and you need to move along, sir.

Yep, I sure do In a lot of ways, it's like pwSurface. Same engine, different interface, same concepts.

Oh. I tried that as well with the UberEnviroment 2, still came out the same. Didn't see any difference at all. Does the surface also apply to heels or u used the "Reflection Strength" slider?

What I do with UE2 is, I add at least one stock distant light set to specular only, no shadow. That allows reflectivity to happen. UE2 is more a supplement than an actual light. For most surfaces, I use a specular map; I have hundreds of them The reflectivity settings in UberSurface can be quite powerful, you can actually blur the map. For most every surface that I need to reflect an actual reflection of the scene, I just use the default shader. Either way, the jey is to have an actual light to reflect off the surface. UE2 offers no reflective properties. I look at it as a global shader. Although, I have used it as a single source of light.

Huh. And I thought I even tried SSS (Subscatering Shader Surface) that came with DAZ 4.6, no difference, then for UE2, I just set the Oclusion Samples to 512, and the Max Error to none and even ( maybe for darker pedal scenes) to tune up the Intensity Scale. Still couldn't get the best u know.

I have found that the best setting for what I do is samples set to 128, with error rate to .25
