Description I rendered this September of 2010. I used two spheres generated in DS3. All of the maps came from the Celestia Motherlode website. The outer sphere is the cloud layer, inner sphere is obviously the planet. I used bump and specular maps for both spheres. Why Africa? Because you don't see it a lot in photos. Lit by one spotlight; works great for a nice, clean line of shadow. DS3/Reality/Lux. Something like this in Lux takes me about 10 minutes to gain 100 samples and really that is all you need -_^

Just use a blue semitransparent sphere with no reflection, refraction, or specular.
