Long story short:

I entered a contest "somewhere" in early June. I took on too much regarding the first entry; there's a lot of stuff I need to learn, and some of the workflow was way sub-optimal. I decided a week ago that I should set the entry aside. Earlier this week, I took a concept I prompted on Artflow, and made a dress and matching shrug. I think I spent 3 hours or so in total on the design. This is what I should have gone for in the first place. I have this bad habit of thinking really big, and thinking I can tackle any problem that is in my way. I should have started with something really simple, then do it really well.

Now I have something simple, but just don't have enough time to refine it to make it look *really* good, in time for the contest. So I rendered two final images and called this an entry.

It's ok though, cause I had no chance in hell of placing, or winning even an honorable mention. I don't win anything in contests. Never have, never will. And I broke my own promise of never entering one again. Yet, here we are.

I'm sure people will love the dress. I certainly like it. I should be able to do better, though. It just kills me that I don't have the time to spend on learning so much, *and* work insane overtime at work.

Fuck life, that's what I say. But at the very least I have a sexy dress and a sexycute character.
