Description
Well, this one was interestingAnd it gets better. I posted the image on Facebook Wednesday morning. By that evening 18 people had "liked" it, nearly half of whom are not on my friend list. One of them told me she liked it so much, she's having it inked on her arm this weekend
I think I have said already that February of this year was very good to me, and 2012 so far has also been very good to me. The good vibes are continuing. My piece is very popular on Facebook (for me anyway) and has the most "likes" I have ever seen in a single day. My commissioned Tiffany character has become the profile picture of admirers, friends whom I know outside of Facebook have followed suit with my renditions of them, people are tagging themselves to my work, and has over 1400 views and 101 favorites! I was almost in tears this past Monday with the seemingly sudden outpouring of appreciation of my work. And now this image. It feels almost unreal. And I am so humbled by it.

Well you know me, I'm not into faeries/pixles, but this is cute and of course you did a nice job!

Ahhhh, well the first post was broken on my end, so I deleted it and started fresh. I think DA still has to work out some bugs with the Stash service.
I love Facebook My work is gaining steam on there. On here, not so much.....

Yea, figured something somewhere messed up, I clicked on the first image before seeing this one lol.
I hate the way flakebook's set up lol, it's set up in such a way that when someone wins a game or do anything there, it's gotta throw in yet another ad to all "friends" email and walls and beg to join the damn thing, everything people do there turns to ads to join. You gotta go and disable every game and junk in order to have any peace in your email. Status quo is the big neon sign there. I don't know what people see in it, but people come here begging us to "follow" them on the lame site to beef up their numbers, I get sick of seeing that. Me, I'm here for one purpose, to hang around friends, I like it here. Don't give one iota about status or numbers lol. And I thanked every single comment, even when I got the DD, they know I appreciate their feedbacks but don't care for big numbers.

Well, DA is much to big for me to be noticed at all unless I submit pieces to groups, and even then, oftentimes they get lost in the shuffle. DA is full of critics and cliques. I've built up quite a rapport with artists from around the globe through Facebook, from the typical Poser artist, to content developers, to sculptors, animators, digital and traditional painters, game designers, modelers, models, photographers, I could keep going.
DA is too clunky as a social media venue. I've been able to coordinate much more efficiently with clients through Facebook and Skype than on here. And myself, I do prefer to follow someone on their Facebook page rather than here. And my work doesn't spread at all here. I don't have the same reach here that I do on Facebook. Numbers are important; they tell me who likes what, and what I should improve on. "Whimsy" proved to be very popular for people who don't have artistic talent, but are appreciators of art. I have now added my DA link to my watermark to help drive people here, and Facebook has made the propagation of my art possible. My work is meant to be shared with the world and indeed it has finally started to spread amongst appreciators. On DA, it requires a Daily Deviation to get any notice. On Facebook, all it requires is a simple "Share". I'm all about exposure. Without Facebook, I would not have landed any paid commissions yet.

Whatever, I was stating why I believe SquallLion mentioned his dislike on the light (what he saw and probably couldn't figure out) and you're getting all sarcastic.

Oh, I'm not being sarcastic. You've had a real issue with me for a very long time and for that, you can move on now. You are the sole person on my watchlist who has had issues with what I post. I refuse to deal with this negativity any more. You have issues with how I render skin and that is your problem. Others do like it and that's all that really counts.

Wow! I love her! I love the colors you chose to use, they go so well together. And the runny mascara look. Reminds me of Dawn the comic book character. She's cute and sexy without overdoing it!
