I need to do a rendition of Cthulhu myself. I have a sketchbook that's about half full of nothing but Cthulhu sketches depicting him in all shapes and sizes from elephantine, to simian, to crab thingy, and none of them I'm happy with. I kept focusing on the description of the "flabby claw" in Call of the Cthulhu and never got it right.
