In the canon lore, Clan Hell’s Horses is touted as ‘The Tank Clan’ but really, there never was much sign of that outside of being told that it was so. Whilst the Horses developed vehicles like the Epona this seemed to be a singular development. The Clan instead was much like the others, Mech heavy with nothing that really made them stand out other than their lore saying they used tanks in front line forces.

The first Clan tanks were introduced in TRO 3060 and save the Epona, none screamed to me that they would be used by the Horses in front line service. They were generalist machines for use by any Clan player who wanted to use them. So, when I started thinking about this lack of anything that made the Horses unique, outside of mostly fluff. I decided to expand the roster of armoured vehicles and other units in Hell’s Horses service.

I didn’t quite expect it to be this large though, maybe 10 – 15 units at the most. But now with over 47,000 words and 31 designs, I can see it’s grown into quite the monster. But, it’s a monster I hope you enjoy reading and looking at as much as I’ve enjoyed working on for about the past year I want to thank my friends for putting up with me gibbering at them about this with specific shout outs going to Devin Ramsey for helping with input on the universe, lore ideas and setting, as well as vehicles. Willis Teal for putting the PDF together and doing all the amazing layout work, as well as putting up with constant edits and additions. Daniel Treybig for playtesting the designs as well as offering ideas for equipment loadouts and variants, lore and fluff and finally Steve 'Beachhead' McKenna (yes really) for his work on the OOB section as well as helping with trying to make a combined arms Clan work fluff wise!

I also want to thank Troy Daniels for his amazing proofreading and Kim Frandsen for pointing me at him! Of course, a huge thank you to the artists for their hard work, because without that, this wouldn’t be possible.
