Rusty is definitely pockmarked. Some of that might be freckles, but some of it is probably pockmarks, probably from a bad case of chicken pox as a kid or something similar.

I think I did try to put the marks on his face but I guess they're not that obvious. I probably colored his skin before trying to add the pocks instead of adding the pocks before coloring, which I should have done if I didn't. And I may forget again to add the pockmarks. Drawing Rusty isn't one of my strengths, neither is drawing Zach!

I was more responding to you asking how I would describe him. You described him as "creepy and freaky." Honestly, I disagree. Whether because of bad acne or chicken pox scars, he's pockmarked and he's a little bit of a stereotypical redneck. I dunno if I would describe him as creepy, though.

Oh I'm sorry. I didn't mean to imply he was freaky and creepy, he's not, he just looked that way when he made this face in the episode "What Wood Lincoln Do?" after Ms. Johnson saw his work.
I'm not the best at describing myself and although I do express myself, I admit I'm not very good at expressing myself, and what I say can get heard wrong or mistranslated.
I did do another drawing of Rusty and this one is not freaky or creepy, at least I don't think so.
He looks friendlier and probably more welcoming in this drawing than he does in the drawing we're talking about.
But I'm sorry if I put you under any wrong impressions and about any misunderstanding I may have caused, I didn't mean for that.
That was also my second try at drawing a full frontal view of Rusty! Only this time I had his eyes fully opened and gave him a smile, although he would have looked freaky and creepy if his eyes were half closed and he was smiling! Okay I better stop now! Rusty's a cool character!

No need to apologize. I've had that problem myself. It's true that Rusty was kind of a dick in Hand Me Downer. But 11 year old boys are often dicks. It's just in our nature. Honestly, I think you did a good job capturing him. It's well drawn. Better than I could do. I'm no artist. I'm more of a writer.
