Description
i was getting aggravated on a message board about someone arguing that female transformer characters should be curvy otherwise...they just look like male character with female heads. i did this design on a character named polaris awhile back (making her somewhat of a remold of armada sideswipe). i did a few extra alterations, but for the most part, kept most of the asthetics from sideswipe. anywho, the point is that she doesn't have all the curves of some over-sexified transformer droolable fanboytoy... and yet still has a sort of feminine charm about her. at least i think so... and from what i had heard... a few others agree.this character is also based off of my fiance' as far as personality goes. ^_^

She is very cute, and I agree completely. Fembots dont have to be all curvy and show offy just to show that their females....

dood, she is cute. I totally agree with you on the whole curvy thing, 'cause this girl looks like she has a personality and is way more attractive than barbiebots. She's just slender enough in all the right places to appear feminine, so it's not *just* in the face/lipstick, I think. Woooo, no wonder I dispised the idea of fembots before, there should be more of them that look like this XD

thank you! something that i've always been proud of about this character is that she's not the typical femmebot tf. or at least i tried not to make her typicall.
i've got a few more pics of her in my gallery just incase you're interested. (her head design and arm/shoulder designs changed slightly)

I remember seeing this on TF2K too, and I thought it looked awesome; I totally dig the relaxed pose. I love seeing those more natural poses than the stilted 'action' ones that everyone seems to draw - they just seem to carry a more believable air, like a snapshot rather than a picture from toy packaging. Awesome, solid drawing, great anatomy - and THANK YOU for drawing a female TF who DOESN'T look like a curvy metal supermodel! I love seeing aspects of the vehicle mode appearing in the robot mode; it actually makes them look like, y'know, TRANSFORMING ROBOTS rather than feminine aspiration figures or Victoria Secret chicks .

Oh wow, you finally posted this pic (I saw it on the TF2K board)! She's just nicely put together. I think the head is what sticks out for me design-wise.
Huzzah for fan artists who can make non-pastel femmes with some kibble!

Yup, its the face which makes her a fembot, like small nose and "lipstick". But DAMN, even though she aint curvy, she looks awesom!
I really like this picture!

When I first opened the image I thought it seemed somewhat feminine. Wasn't sure until I read the text. Other then the face nothing "screams" out that this is a female Transformer but there is a sort of feminine quality to it that I can't quite pin down. Very nice drawing Beamer. I like it a lot.
Almost wanting to make my own TF bot now.
