The pigments in her eyes are rich, and the nails and the way the fingers are positioned on the face is lovely. I love how the hair is slicked back...but I wish the mouth was parted a bit smaller. She has a slightly dead look on her face...it lacks that spark.

I love everything about this, lighting, makeup, and composition. There's one little detail that I'm unsure of though. When I see this image I feel like I should be captured by those beautiful eyes and the dramatic eye makeup(and I am), but my attention keeps getting diverted by the two yellow nails.

That's one of the strengths, I think - that it keeps your eyes moving around. When it's easy to fixate on one aspect of a photograph, the viewer gets bored.
