Mapleflight's mother had been killed by dogs when she was a kit, now many years later, Mapleflight is sacrificing herself, just as her mother had, to protect her badly injured kin, Sparkspirit from a dog.

I cannot draw a dog for the life of me, so I didn't try too hard to make it look halfway decent, because the dog wasn't the focus of the image, I wasn't even originally going to add it, which might've actually looked better..
