If you see my version of Sonic Forces ending "Metal Knuckles returns " you may remember in this version Metal Knuckles had a neo form like Metal Sonic. Let me tell you the full version of it.

Neo Metal KnucklesNeo Metal Knuckles will start to be foreshadow through out my version of Sonic Forces. In Green hill before the "Eggman" fight Eggman will mention of Sonic, but implying of Infinite fighting Sonic in Mystic jungle which, he implies how pathetic of that copy of his "Brother" is and how many times he lost to him. Tails was shocked to hear this and confused to hear Eggman say Sonic is copy of his "brother?" The fight between Classic Sonic and Eggman play as normal only this time the Egg viper appears this time instead of the egg Dragoon. The viper will plays the same as in Adventure 1 but this time it learn a new trick. It will shoot magnet bullets at Classic Sonic. (Hey the Egg viper didn't get as much attention as the Death egg Robot and the Egg Dragoon, so don't judge me." After the fight the Eggman they were fighting was D3-COY. Tails was ashamed that this wasn't the real Eggman, but feel with hope when he hear that his Sonic is still alive in this world. Classic and Tails race off to Mystic Jungle, but little do they know that the D3-COY started to melt into metallic goo. The metallic goo formed together into Neo Metal Knuckles.

N.Metal Knuckles: "Looks like the fox boy has been infected by the phantom ruby too."

Neo Metal Knuckles flies off to his base. The other foreshadowing can be with Sonic having a chat with Shadow about Eggman acting not himself, implying that he wants to see Knuckles get his honor destroyed. Sonic wonders why he wants to huminite Knuckles (Even through he fooled him so many times before) instead of him.

Sonic and the avatar destroys the fortress reactor and unites with Classic Sonic and Tails. As the avatar and Sonic is about to do a fist bump, Eggman came out flying of the base and in between them and interupted their fist bump. As the rest of the resistance came over and surround Eggman, the doctor explains he didn't do anything wrong this time. Tails scoffed "It's NEVER your fault." Eggman explains that he was locked up by Metal Knuckles. Just then Metal Knuckles appear on a pillar and implies plan is complete. Eggman explains after he found the phantom ruby Metal Knuckles actives in the first time in years and the phantom ruby flies into him and transformed him into Neo Metal Knuckles. He locked Eggman in a pod and disguise as him. He takeover the Eggman empire and hire the Jackal Squad to defend his base. But they were destroyed by Shadow, and the leader survives by was twisted. Everyone glares at Shadow, Shadow allows the doctor to continue his story. Eggman explains he play Infinite like a puppet and use him to make copies of the robots lead by the phantom clones of past villains that Sonic defeated before, including a Phantom clone of Shadow. He need the wisp's power, so he send his robots to find the strongest one with the wisp. He learns that only the avatar can master the wisps better then anyone, and now thanks to their DNA he has the power of the wisp. Metal Knuckles absorbs the badniks except Orbot and Cubot (Cause Sonic saved them) into the phantom ruby. Everyone watches as Metal Knuckles transform into the phantom madness.

Eggman thinks it's totally useless to stop him now. But Shadow pulls out a chaos emerald. But Eggman states that one emerald will not be enough. Tails suggests that he Orbot, Cubot and Classic Sonic will go look for the chaos emeralds. Eggman was confused as he look for classic Sonic but found nothing but Tails, Cubot and Orbot. Eggman ignores this and orders them to go to chemical plant zone. Sonic goes at Phantom madness to buy Tails and his team some time.

Just then a spark of light appears and with a familiar theme. The spark flies over to the avatar and shines all over them. Then see a echidna that looks like Knuckles but orange and is a girl named Tikal appears in front of the avatar. She claims that the chaos emeralds won't be enough to stop the phantom ruby.
Phantom MadnessPhantom Madness has similar to metal madness in heroes. except this time, you're fighting him one on one. Sonic needs to avoid his attacks which are a ruby shot, a phantom slash and a thunder strike. During this fight Eggman makes an interesting quote.

Eggman: "First Metal Sonic, then Omega, now him! Who's next Tails doll?!"

Shadow "How robots do you have doctor?"

In the second phase phantom Madness roars and starts to glow of phantom ruby aura. He gains new attacks like Illusion hand where he summons a boss fight like Zavok and Metal Sonic, including the ones who didn't get ones like Chaos ZERO and Shadow, and phantom blast where he blast out phantom ruby cubes around the battlefield. Sonic needs to jump over these, but if he doesn't he be trapped in a nightmare where phantom Madness is stronger than ever. Against all odds Sonic was victorious.

Phantom Madness: "You seem stronger even without the wisps."

Eggman: "Trust me, Metal Knuckles. Sonic is as stubborn as a mule."

Sonic: "Yes, he's history now!"

Eggman: "No time for celebrating Sonic! Without the emeralds we can't stop him!"
Chaos 6I'm gonna add Chaos 6 for this because we got his boss fight with his Perfect form and a giant Chaos Zero from in the Lego Dimensions DLC.

After Tails, Classic Sonic, Orbot and Cubot reach the Chemical plant, they find out a phantom Chaos has already beaten them to the emeralds and becomes Chaos 6. Classic step in for a fight.

Chaos 6 will be a 2d fight with him standing in the center with Classic running around him on the platform. Chaos 6 will shoot water at Classic to slow him down, a ice spare attack and use similar attacks from Adventure 1, and he can jump in front of Classic at random. Classic will have a chance to attack but bounce right off. Orbot, Cubot and Tails have a chat.

Cubot: "Classic Sonic, not doing any damage! We have to help!"

Orbot: "I've got it! Remember those ice bombs that Sonic uses to freeze Chaos 6 back on the egg carrier?"

Tails: "Oh, right. If they work on the real chaos, I bet they can work on this chaos too!"

Orbot: "Alright, we make the ice bombs, you carry them to the small Sonic."

Tails will drop a ice bomb. When Chaos jump in front of Classic Sonic, he needs to knock the ice bomb in Chaos' mouth. Once Chaos is frozen Classic Sonic can do damage to Chaos. However it will take four hits to defeat Chaos. Everytime he gain a new attack. He tries to strike Classic Sonic with his tail when hit one time; He will raise pillar spikes of water out of the ground when hit a second time; And when he was hit for the third time he release his tentacles and swing them around. Classic Sonic needs to jump over them. After Chaos 6 hit for the fourth time, he's defeated.

Classic Sonic celebrants and rush over to grab the emeralds. But Chaos 6 came back and grabbed him by the leg and starts slamming him around. Tails is not gonna lose another Sonic, but he saw that Classic is started to fade. Tails finally realize that Classic Sonic is not real, but another one of the phantom Ruby's illusion. Tails have been crushed by the fact that Classic is not real. But then A voice came inside of Tails' head.

???: "Don't be afraid, he is real."

Tails: "What, Shadow!?"

???: "No, but I'm a friend."

Tails: "What do you mean he's real!?"

???: "This is his dreamself. You brought him here."

Tails: "But I'm not that powerful! I can't run fast as Sonic! I can't be strong as Knuckles or Shadow!? I'm not a hero!"

???: "That's not true!"

Tails: *Looks up and sees phantom Omega*

Phantom Omega: "You inspired me to be a hero, and help when no one else could!"

Phantom Cream: "And me, buddy!"

Phantom Emerl: "Same here."

Phantom Marine: "And I as well, old might."

Yacker: *Wisp language*

Phantom Chip: "Truely a noble soul."

Tails: *Looks around him to see all the friends he made on his adventures with Sonic*

???: "Sonic, and all of them may be heroes, but you have the heart of one."

Tails: "You're right, I do!"*Gets back up*"Time to do what's right!

That heroic speech inspired Tails to fight back and strike back at Chaos 6. He uses a tornado attack and hits Chaos' brain destroying the illusion for good. Tails pick Classic Sonic back on his feet, but notice he's starts to fade. Tails thinks he needs to let go of him. Tails hugs Classic goodbye as he fades back to his time. Orbot reminds Tails they have to take the chaos emeralds back to the group before it's too late.
Phantom overlordAfter Tails, Cubot, and Orbot got back with the 6 other chaos emeralds. Eggman and the resistance notice that Classic Sonic is nowhere insight. Tails explains that he's the one who summons that Sonic. Sonic and Eggman look at each other in confusion. But then Phantom madness rises back up and starts transforming into Phantom Overlord. Sonic tries to use the 7 chaos emeralds to transform into Super Sonic, but the emeralds failed. Sonic and everyone else were confused. Phantom overlord laughs and explains that his phantom rubies deactivate the chaos emeralds. Shadow tries to use chaos control, but nothing happening. Just then he fell to the ground. The other notice this and fell to the ground too. Phantom Overlord explains that he can control will, including the chaos emeralds themselves. He summons an army of Sonic's past enemies to finish off the resistance once and for all. But then the avatar stands up and pulls Sonic up. Phantom Overlord were shocked. Tails explains that Avatar is connect to the phantom ruby prototypes. Then the Avatar release the wisps that fought next to them throught their adventure and with the boost of the chaos emeralds, the Avatar made a suit of armor and Sonic turns into Hyper Sonic. The duo changes at the Phantom Overlord.

The final battle against Phantom overlord is similar to the fight with Metal Overlord in Heroes except this time they are two people fighting him instead of three and we have to use wisp attacks to defeat him instead of a double boost. Phantom Overlord will tries to stop you with the wisps powers that you use through the game and you need to get the same wisp as that power to damaged him. When he is on his last tentacle he will use a dark cannon on you. But Sonic, the Avatar and all the wisps and come together to use on final attack, know as the "Final color double boost blaster!" Super Sonic and Avatar charge at Phantom Overlord destroying him for good.

After the battle Metal Knuckles lied on the ground as his Neo form is fading away.

N. Metal Knuckles: "It's no use. Why can't I defeat you."

Sonic: "You may have all the wisp powers, but you forget on thing. The wisp can share their power with someone they trust. Like me and my friend here."

N. Metal Knuckles: "But Knuckles have been guarding the master emerald all by himself!"

Knuckles: "I've been alone, but I have friends to help, like Sonic, Tails, the Chaotix and more. Everyone needs help some time."

And like his Neo will finally faded, turning him back to normal Metal Knuckles. Just things were over. Eggman came in his Egg mobile and grabs Metal Knuckles, claiming that when he fixes Metal Knuckles, he'll make him stronger then ever. Sonic decided to let Eggman go, after all the war is over and no more battles is needed to be won. Sonic and the resistance decided to fix the world that Metal Knuckles leave in when he was impersonating Eggman.

The credits Scentence plays with the resistance fixing their world, while Eggman fixes Metal Knuckles with the help of Orbot, Cubot, Metal Sonic, and the other badniks.

The after Credits scene play out as usual but this time there's a twist. When the Custom hero leaves. Sonic runs across Green hill and find ambush by Eggman with A restored Metal Knuckles and the Real Metal Sonic. Tails, and Knuckles came up to Sonic ready to fight Eggman. Sonic then jump up in the air and did a homing attack covering the screen in a flash of white.
