This is quite a haunting interpretation of this scene from The Harbinger Experiment.
It's very fitting given the story this is inspired from. The look of the creature appears very faithful to the descriptions given about Subject 3. The creature looks appropriately ominous and unnerving, especially when looking into it's dark, endless eyes.
Furthermore, you do a great job capturing the story's claustrophobic atmosphere in the image. The room Subject 3's in looks incredibly confining and rather uninviting (at least in context to Zimmerman's horrifying experiment).
The Harbinger Experiment stands as my all-time favorite creepypasta (as well as one of my favorite horror short stories, period), and it's great to see something like this image being made in response to the story!

I have three theories about that
1. An attempt made by a completely alien consciousness to communicate
2. A way to “play” with its prey
3. A way to confuse and disorient them, making them easier to catch

Great work on the picture. Even if I'm no fan of horror, The Harbinger Experiment is still my favourite story. It's written so well and I couldn't imagine any other Creepypasta that's as brilliant as this one.

For all we know, in the world that this thing was from, ripping other creatures apart is a form of greeting, and it just wanted to say "hello."
