Hmm. Incredibly adorable (I'm jealous!) but definately be careful when handling them. Get vaccinated against rabies, and if you have the slightest suspicion that you may have been bitten or whatnot, report to the hospital ASAP. There's no way to tell for sure whether you've contracted rabies until after you're dead, so better safe than sorry!

oh yes it was happy but i had to let it go - it wouldn't leave at first but then i think its instincts naturally kicked in and after a month it flew off and i haven't seen it since. sad

Yep! Lol. We have bats living in our house somewhere. They come out in the middle of the day every so often..not often enough for us to get used to it..so we're like "OMG! A BAT! IT's flying around in the kitchen...the dining room..omg! It's hanging on the wall!!" LMAO. That's pretty much what happened last time.. that and I tried to catch it in my hat
