This is very neat. Nice match up of tree and light.

This is beautiful.
I wouldn't want to be standing close by, though. Was there an actual storm at the time, or did it just look gloomy?
The light around the tree is very intense.

I got this effect by a strong HDR processing. It was actually just a blue clouded sky, no storm, no lightnings
