Polarwolf | 16 month old | September 2013 | Wisentgehege SpringeAfter month I visited the wolves in Springe. The new enclosure is finished and polarwolves and timberwolves are seperated now. I think the timbers are quiet satisfied with the situation, although there is still rumour in the pack. Akela was seperated, because the girls had a little argue. So Nantan, Tala and Yakima are alone in the enclosure. The new enclosure is very lovely, unfortunately they took a fence where the gaps are not as big as in the other one :/ But there is a little hill near the fence and a little water hole and you can take nice pictures there. So I like to go there soon again, when the weather is better.

This is my first encounter with your profile. I love dogs. But I was amazed with your photographs with the wolves.
One question.. ahmmm are they dangerous??? I mean you can capture photos with them..

I capture pictures of wolves in zoos and animal parks. So there is a fence between them and me. But I also visited wolves within their enclosures, without a fence. And I still live

Dawwwwww... I'm pretty unlucky I live in a place where there is no wolves haha! But I'm looking forward to see one in the future cause I find them very interesting though I sometimes fear them mehehe. But thank you very much! Your pictures added to my curiosity and interest! Was sind denn die schwarzen Flecken? Dächer? Oder vom Zaun? Die machen das Bild etwas kaputt, auch wenn du nix dafür kannst :/. Kenne das aber mit blöden Gehegen. Ansonsten wunderschön eingefangen wie immer. Ich mag deine Bildschärfe :3

Ja, der Hintergrund ist leider etwas gruselig. Das eine ist ein Baum, auf den die Sonne schien (links der große schwarze Streifen, wenn ich den weggenommen hätte, wäre es zu knapp beschnitten gewesen) und das andere glaube ich auch Blätterdach. Es ist ein bisschen von unten fotografiert, wenn ich gerade drauf gehalten hätte, hätte ich den blöden Zaun im Hintergrund gehabt... Ich war deswegen auch schwer am überlegen, ob ich es überhaupt hochlade. Aber ich mochte den Wolf und das Licht so, deshalb hab ichs doch gemacht.

Ja, ist auch ein schönes Foto. Für den BG kann man leider oft nichts :/ was echt etwas schade ist...aber ein gutes Foto ist es ja trotzdem
