Description I forgot to upload this yesterday..... no one's keeping track, right? >>

Anyway, here's the last installment of the Pride trilogy! Happy Pride, everyone!

Long discussion and my personal opinions below. If you would like to skip, feel free. (This'll also be kind of messy)

This one's based off the idea that even though we've achieved recognition for those who are homosexual, there is still a lot of discrimination as to who counts in the LGBT+ community and who doesn't. People tend to yell at bisexuals and pansexuals for dating the opposite gender, saying that it's 'heterosexual' and therefore doesn't count under the LGBT umbrella. Which honestly is bullshit. The whole point of being Bisexual is that they're attracted to both genders, as is Pansexual (kind of, but you get the idea. They're still attracted to males).

A lot of people also say asexual doesn't count or exist for scientific reasons. Which I guess is a solid argument, but there's sill the fact that sometimes people just aren't attracted to others that way. Same goes to aromantic. I've heard about people saying that ace people don't count under the LGBT+ acronym, arguing that the 'A' stands for Allies. Now, Allies are also good people; even though they don't experience the same thing, they still support it. But in my belief, asexuals and aromantic people shouldn't be excluded if people choose to identify that way. It's their choice and their bodies and minds, just as it is for homosexuals, bisexuals, pansexuals, etc. And they should never be erased from the LGBTQA+ umbrella. Though Allies are good, the whole point of it is to represent those who aren't heterosexual, and thus should always take priority for representation and inclusion.

Finally, there's the issue of demigenders. I haven't seen much discourse on it, as it's not a very well-known term. But seeing as there are people who discriminate against those stated above, it's very possible there are people who want to exclude demigenders out of the LGBT community for not being 'fully gender queer' or something similar.

~~~~~~~
Even though we've achieved so much in equality and representation, there's still so much we have to do. Please remember to sill be alert and aware, have a safe Pride everyone!
