Description
Scott was a lovely sweety this day. He began howling as the alpha has to do - only if Ayla or Scott howls, the others will do the same - but layed at this moment far away from the fence and behind trees. So I couldn't take a photo of him at this time. But he stopped after some minutes, stood up, looked around and came to the fence to lay down just a few steps away from the fence and me. As if he'd understood that it would be a pleasure for me to have him closer________________________________________________________________________________________________

It's my good old Sigma 120-400mm F4,5-5,6 Sometimes a bit slow and quite worn out but it works.

Thanks for the info,it takes really nice shots.
I need a longer lens and have been looking at one of those, that and the 150-500 Sigma..either way its going o be a while.

I realised, that a 500mm does not come notable closer than a 400mm but the 400 is much cheaper. So if you want an advice, I would choose an 400mm

I have done some research on the two,and it seems the 150-500 is sharper at 400 than the 120-400 plus there is the extra 100mm to use in a pinch,so i think i will be saving for the 150-500..thogh it is a close thing, and your shots make it a very tempting choice ..

Tell me, if it fits to your requirements when you've bought it
Maybe I'll get the chance to check this argument, I'm interested on how much the sharpness will differ.

I will ,the problem is each lens has its lovers and they all think theirs is best so getting a definitive answer is hard.
