I had some miniature nature stuff laying around and I decided to make something pretty of it. Why not capture nature's beauty in tiny little jars?
I really like how these turned out. I just wish I had a better camera to help me bring out their beauty better

Don't get discouraged! You don't need a great camera to take good pictures. As a former Etsy seller and a photographer, I can give you some advice.
-Use natural light if you can, around noon is a great time for shooting indoors.
-Pay attention to where the light is coming from and how it effects the way your product looks. For example, harsh direct light can cast dark shadows and make something look unpleasant.
-Get in close for the details. Don't zoom, because this decreases image quality.
-Learn about white balancing for your camera. This is especially important so that the colors of your product look right in the photo. If your camera has a custom white balance setting, use that.

I am kind of familiar with these rules and I try to follow them as much as I can, but natural lighting isn't really an option for me around this time of the year as in Europe it's winter and we barely get any sunlight for a few months. And I must admit that the pictures I took during the summer in natural lighting look a lot better. But thanks again for the help, mate!
