This piece appeals to me on so many levels. I've always had a real thing for images with a figure falling... and I think the composition and all over feel of this piece is what grabs me. Really love the decision to leave white in the background too... adds a certain level of visual static to what's happening in the foreground, makes it feel like a moment that's frozen rather than a snapshot of something moving.

Simply amazing! Of all the wondrous qualities in this painting, from the colours, poses, I have to say, most of all the feeling and emotion portrayed and expressed here... awe-inspiring.
