My entry for the Toon Turmoil Contest.Yes, I know...what I have drawn is unforgiveable.
The worlds of Rainbow Brite and Dragonball Z have been combined!
FEAR the chibis.
Goku is Rainbow Brite, Trunks is Buddy Blue, Piccolo is Patty O'Green, Mrs. Briefs is Lala Orange, Krillin is Canary Yellow, Vegeta is Indigo, Bulma is Shy Violet, and Gohan is Red Butler.
Heheh, I took a few liberties when drawing this, mainly making some of the skirts into shorts. Since there are more female characters in Rainbow Brite than main DBZ characters, a few guys had to take girl outfits (i.e, the very feminine-looking Krillin).
Hehehe, poor Krillin...he looks like a maid
And I made Vegeta more 'indigo' than the original character was...just because I don't have enough shades of purple to make Shy Violet and a purple Indigo.

I still think this is an excellent drawing..weird as all get-out but well drawn and the creativity you used in pairing each character. I actually like both shows so this was a hilarious find for me. Good job

As a fan of both series, that is wrong on so many levels, but it's so funny. And the fact that Vegeta and Piccolo are in there, and considering that the original characters were female, is just icing on the cake. Excellent work.

Why did you make that Gohan into Red Butler? That was the ONLY COOL ONE in that crapfest of seizures and explosions of colors.

I made Gohan Red Butler because I felt his outfit fit Gohan best in this parody. Also, I drew it for a contest, and it was in no way meant to be serious - just a fun parody.

I don't really know what this Rainbow Bright is, but it does look amusive (that's "amusing" plus... "abusive"). Though I must admit, it's rather colorful. And cheerful. Vegeta is scaring me... I think markers as a medium worked well for the colors.
