Description
A simple portrait of Charon from Fallout 3, who’s still my favourite game character. I drew this one back in September, before Fallout: New Vegas was out. But even though F:NV is a great game, for me none of the followers there is as good as Charon.Charon, Fallout © Bethesda

Charon is really cool. My fav in the entire series is Cassidy from fallout 2. But in fallout three it's either Charon or Jericho. As of Fallout NV Ed-e As of Fallout 4.. Nick and or Macready.

You have a talent for sketching Charon. You really do. Between this and 'A Moment of Peace', I think you should go to work for Betheseda as a concept artist!

I agree.... the main fault of New Vegas is that no one of the followers is a charismatic as Charon and Butch were for me.

Yeah, even though they all have extensive back stories, no one really gets me, as Charon did. Well, maybe that's the thing - with the followers in the F3 more was left to the imagination.

I love the painting and texture on here. The scratches in the armour and the stitches in the leather are brilliant.

There's my favourite not-actually-a-cowboy in the world! I still adore Charon after all this time too.
Just loving how the battered look of the leather, gauntlets and shoulders guards carries over to the gun. I think everything in the game has that "aged remnants of the past" look; all weathered and banged up and in the ghoul characters it is reflected in their very skin. I think you paint it all brilliantly. Everything here ties in together so well against the simple backdrop of sky and little bit of barren land. I particularly like sky backgrounds in Fallout pictures because somehow it always gets me thinking that despite all the chaos in the Wasteland, the sky at least goes unchanged. It's kind of a stupid, whimsical thought, but I like it.
