Made Maido!Sailor Venus for a picnic back in August. Another costume I don't have many decent photos of (most were lulz photos.)

The first thing I thought when viewing this (besides that it's cute) was "carefully planned so their panties aren't showing" the second thing was wondering how you weren't all jumping on top of the photographer (what a dedicated photographer to let girls jump on him so he can photograph them!) haha I realize I'm a little strange.

LOL. It was actually LUCK that we all covered out panties with our legs. Took a few jumps but we got it. As for the actually picture taking, the photographer used a remote so he didn't have to lay under us and get jumped on.

Please excuse my ignorance, but I've been away for a while and I have no idea what cosplay is. But I do like this shot. Good energy and composition from the leg positioning. Nicely done.

Thanks! Cosplay is the mix of costume and play in it's most basic form. Generally, the characters we dress up from are from Japanese anime and manga, comics, movies, TV or even original designs. Some of us make our own costume (like myself) other buy theirs, it's all personal preference to how you want to enjoy the hobby. There are all levels of cosplayers, from the most basic who are just learning how to sew and play around as their friends, to the advance who make costume that works of art. It's growing and very creative hobby. We are also lucky to have quite a few photographers that enjoy taking pictures as their hobby too, so when we work together we get stuff like this.
