I'm sorry, but it's depresssing how busy I've been. No, Not really with other stuff, but with my own art. I've been so busy, I don't even take the time to snap a photo or two of any of my pictures,This is a picture of Time Square, New York, that my older sister photographed when she was there last spring break.
She just re-decorated her room, and I'm painting this to a 2x3 canvas for her for Christmas.
I know it's crappy so far, but... But if anyone would take the time to suggest how to go about a city scape... I'd... I'd really appreciate it......
I generally know what I'm doing, but I've never painted this large before with just as much detal per square inch...

Use one-point perspective to set it up, just as a base, then go off the photo for your detail. That's proabably the only advice i can give on a city scape. From this it looks like the picture was taken in Night so unless all the neon lights were on and it lit up the street you'll proabably be useing alot of grays (Obviously ^-^;;;; im sure you already knew that) But good luck with your endevours. and Happy Holidays!

Yeah, I had my center in the middle, the blueish mountain logo, and I kept that until I had to go into detail and realized the projector was at a funny angle and couldn't focus on everything at the same time...

It's the Mega-Art class you can get College credit for... It's with Mr. Andreae, and you do cool stuff the entire year, some years there's even a trip to Chicago for the art museum... How could you not have heard of it?

ahhhh, the studio art class, i have heard you guys talk about that. so is it a lot of work on the computer like graphic design, or is it a variety of stuff? the drawing class last year was going to go to chicago, but there wasn't enough people.
