A quick break from commissions
Ack I haven't uploaded forever. School was busy and then I suddenly realized that my main scholarship application due date was really near, and then after that school work piled up again D: Now that spring break is here I have more time for art though
I had a random impulse to draw a fox head and also wanted to practice fur again. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out but I did notice too late that the head is shaped oddly with the eyes a bit too far apart and the forehead kind of too large...oh well XD
I also kept changing the background again; it used to have trees from a forest with bird silhouettes flying away.

The use of texture, color, and lighting all add to this. Of course I'm a sucker for animals with markings on their faces too. You've really got some talent!

The texture in this is gorgeous. And I think this simple background is perfect; it draws more attention to the detail in the fox's head.

The fur is gorgeous I can't even figure how you can take something digital and make it look ain't early and traditional! The furr it looks so fuzzy and detailed I want to just touch it!
