I love the colors, it creates a cool affect, especially since you can't really see much of a background and brings the focus to the carrots. They also look really good and fresh

Oh, they are, or were; those went straight into a stew.  I used my cutting board as a background and tried to show as little of it as possible.

Delicious, too. Each color has its own distinct flavor.  Yellows are nice and mellow, purples are sweet, and reds are a bit hot, like radishes a little.
