Description
In an effort to get better pictures of the coots and grebe, I started to feed the geese; this has worked in the past to put the other birds at ease a bit at least. Much to my surprise, this yielded instead some new arrivals on the scene: gulls. I've been seeing more and more around, even near my apartment, but this is the first time I had so many clustering about to take pictures of. They're skittish, and a bit put off by the geese, but they're beautiful to watch in flight, especially when they come slicing down through the sky to pluck up a bit of bread from the water.
