Needed to draw a happy aftermath to it cause, man, I can't kill them off like that.

Oh, no, Dororo's eye is fine. He just had a nasty gash on his eye-lid, maybe a tiny tear on his cornea, but those heal (speaking from experience ;;^^).
I just don't do death-fic/art, normally. The fic I wrote with Giroro's cat dying was an exception to that rule.
I tried to make this very emotional and I'm glad to hear you can see that. ^^
