The dress that I made for our Fashion club's show last Friday, which took about a month or so to get together after Wasabi was over.

Craftsmanship notes for my galaxy dress:
I made the hoop skirt myself with 10 channels of steel boning (from Home Depot lol). The skirt itself is a fancy gradient satin that Joanns had for their spring collection, with a gauzy rhinestone studded bit over the top for the star effect. The trim and the ruffle sucked to make >.> The bodice is crepe-back satin anddd I forget what the blue part was. But I did the silver dots on the front by hand with fabric paint, and hand stitched on the silver vinyl ribbon on the sleeves. The back has a detachable train that I hand painted a galaxy on, so pics of that will be up later. And I made the jewelry and circlet myself too, which was an adventure in wire hammering. Lots of pretty blue goldstone and crystals!
