First off, Projection Class is best!

Anyways here's my assignment for oSaC's very first event! This was a bit of a challenge as Shiverkit could not show off her powers as many others could. She need to have a large body of water so she could basically swim through it. That's it. Haha. Well what can you expect from someone that is like a baby, but in cat form? Lol anyways I thought I would draw her thinking of her power and thus that part was born. Then there is Lynxtail.

Alright Lynxtail, being the Monarch and primarily Self Class, she can grow armor! That is pretty awesome. (Not as awesome as controlling water, earth, or wind, but yeah know~) In the beginning, she started the little introducing ceremony and "show off" part of the even by growing armor made of stone and that had spikes! I drew that! Also I added the fact that later on, Lynxtail and Shiverkit met and began to chat. My little baby thought Lynxtail was like a shield. Haha, she kept asking if she was a shield of something. Or well questioning Lynxtail over her powers. Haha XD I feel bad for our lovely Monarch because my baby loves learning new things and she just kind of hopped to it. Oh ho! XD

SO that's it! I'll put some of the conversation up here!"

Lynxtail(Starting point and all):

Lynxtail watched the still crowd in curiosity. She was curious to see who would and wouldn't show their powers. She hasn't even seen all the powers that these cats posses. Maybe a little demonstration will get things going.
"For all those non self-class cats," she purred as she hoped off the branch, landing right next to Hopflight. "Here's a little something that we can do," She closed her eyes and began to channel her energy into her power. The skin along her back grew tough and seemed to become an almost stone like substance. Spikes formed along her spine. She loved her power. To be able to grow weapons and armor was perfect for her.

Shiverkit(thinking of the whole idea):

Shiverkit was with her mother and was glad the two had settled close to the edge of the crowd. She didn't much like talking. It wasn't that fun really. It made her nervous sometimes. What if she spoke the wrong words or accidentally did something rude? This made the she-kit flatten her ears slightly as the two Monarchs began to speak. Hopflight was an interesting character and kind of unnerved the kit. What a strange cat...... she thought, but then she turned to the obviously more responsible of the two. Lynxtail seemed like an excellent cat and well rounded leader. I like her, but I feel too nervous to even go near. She doesn't seem like the type to judge, but what would she think of my past? Oh dear....her thoughts continued, but they were dashed as her ears suddenly perked up at what the two spoke of.

The small bobtail she-kit's eyes widened slightly at what they spoke of. She truly didn't want to speak to any of the others because she was too nervous about being stupid or saying something to anger anyone and then maybe end up getting scars again. Mostly on her heart. Also there was the problem of her only knowing one power and it wasn't that strong. All she could do was breath underwater for quite sometime. Not that useful unless she had to go searching for some lost items in the waters. Not very useful.... She kind of shrunk away toward her mother. Also she could feel her blood almost run cold at the thought of having to demonstrate such a useless thing. Shiverkit didn't want to even think about any of it. A small whimper even escaped her maw, but it was silenced with a soft lick from her mother on the top of her head. This calmed her a bit, but she was still dreadfully wanting to leave and go home to her den now.

And finally~~~!!!

The two meeting:

Lynxtail:

A goofy grin spread across Lynxtail's maw. Everyone was starting to mingle! She was very impressed when Flightpaw came up to her to show her his powers. He was a very brave apprentice to do that. She noticed other cats show off some of what they know; Littlestep showing his animation skills with a few sticks, Mintpaw using his camaflauge power. Lynxtail hoped a little in excitement.
She made her way across the grass, joining the crowd. Her hazel eyes searched the crowd. She smiled when her eyes landed on the small spotted frame of Shiveringkit. She trotted over to the kit and with a soft smile she asked, "what's your power little one? I bet it's exciting!"

Shiverkit:

Shiverkit had just started to calm down and watch the others after her mother had spoke. Then the much larger she-cat had told her that she was going to show her own powers to the crowd and then return. She had also told her daughter that she should as well. Even if it was simply swimming through water for a good amount of time. Of course the shy and untrusting kit shook her head and meowed, "Oh I couldn't do that... I know I'm a kit, but still! It's not worth showing if I only have the first tier of Hydrokinesis. Poppyspots!" The spotted she-kit had whined a little as her mother drifted out into the crowd. Once she saw that her only comfort had left she felt very apart and vulnerable. However, this did give her a chance to watch the others perform many different powers. Most were very intriguing. The self-class powers where very nice. One apprentice was able to hide him or her self completely! That was something.

However, her mind was taken off of it as she felt a strange crawling sense at the back of her neck. Like she was being watched. However, it passed, but then was completely replaced with surprise as Lynxtail came to rest in front of her. Being uncertain as to what to say, she simply stared at Lynxtail. After she cast her blue eyed gaze on the cat, her mind registered something. She was being rude. Instantly Shiverkit regretted not doing something other than staring. To try in fix it she dipped her head and meowed, "Greetings, Lynxtail. I.... I only have the first tier of Hydrokinesis. I can simply just swim around in the water. I'm also stronger around it.... Also I can see clearly no matter how salty it is. That's about it...." She then gave a small shrug.

And there you are!
