Although the content makes me roll my eyes a little, I have a question: Have you tried using other media than coloured pencil? I think this could have a lot more visual impact and deeper colours using a less-sketchy medium.

I've tried photoshop and I just can't manipulate the colors the way I want them or it takes too darn long (I have one picture I've been working on and off with for well over a year now and I just can't find the urge to finish it). As for ink, I don't like the idea of not being able to control mistakes, but I guess that would just push me to try harder.
