Description
XD this face as he was trying to paw to get a fly off (and yes that was the only reason) was just too good to miss. He does have a little rub scratch on his neck but it was nothing more than just rubbing off a little hair to get an itch.Related content

Chestnut! He's a pretty boy. Even when looking... displeased.

Hehe it was the only time he wasn't trying to pose for the camera and he still just looked so adorable. But thank you! I will pass on the compliment -and totally boost his already massive ego-

What is it about chestnuts? They always seem to have very expressive personalities. I've seen other colored horses with big personalities but every chestnut I've met just has a... certain character about them.

Its the coloring and the way their coats just capture the light, they could be sitting there eating grass and have a total "yeah, im eating im still hot stuff" expression!

That must be it.
That and they're like terrier dogs. My horse was always looking at me going: 'I may measure at 14.2 and a bit but I'm really 16.0hh! Watch me jump four foot!'

XD my horse is currently only motivated to jump anything over 3 foot if there is a mare on the other side, otherwise we are building up his confidence still

Wow. Such a special motivation that is too. Wise idea. It's sad when you see horses that enjoyed jumping being pushed to hard and ending up hating it and then when they really don't enjoy jumping being forced to do it.

Haha boys, what can ya do lol. I know, and he loves it but he is only a year off the track and we gave him winter off to make sure he wintered well cause he came to us about a hundred pounds underweight so we wanted to just give him some time and build up some fat. But this spring he jumped 4 foot 9 to get into the mares paddocks during breeding season. Good thing he is a gelding but still, he made a fatal mistake.. I know how high he can go now

Not much, that's for sure. He's toast.
Should have though ahead of that one Mambo... I think your grand plan backfired on ya.
