Jack is simply a classic, at first he'll just be standing in his stall, maybe his head dropped over the stall door as he takes a nap, he will care less if you aren't a regular down at the barn, but if you're someone he knows than it is pretty much the complete opposite, as soon as he sees you, his ears will perk up and he'll neigh and whinny to get your attention, tossing his head around, looking almost like a dog who saw their owner for the first time in a year. he is a bit of a pig, he will always try to eat grass when he's out on a hack, and will always stand as far back as the cross-ties will let him be. he gets a little anxious when being jogged, he might get close to you or have to bump into you, but really that's about as bad as he gets about things. that is unless there is something new around, he likes knowing his surroundings so a random chair pops up in front of his stall, there will be no getting him in or out for a few days. he may seem highstrung and rather out there, the girls at the barn call him a weirdo but he's very focused in the ring, even if you are competing on turf, he's been known to do well with intermediate riders as even if they don't know what they are doing he will do his best to make him look good, and no matter what the rider asks him you know he will get them both to the other side of a fence safely even if it means knocking a rail.
