Description
Whilst walking in NY, something about this building really struck me. Maybe it was the 'Established in 1846' that did it.Related content

It's rare to see buildings like that these days, with the name so well done on the side of the building.
It'd have caught my eye as well.
Sweet.

the "old" of the east coast makes the "old" of the west seem like only yesterday, but when compared to europe and other parts of the world, the "old" in this country is laughable! i can see why this would bring a sense of insignificance...great shot!

A book publisher! Perhaps I shall go see them about publishing my memoirs...
There's always something fascinating about antiquity. Especially in this country. We're so young in the grand scheme of things!

Yeah, I think that's what it is. I am sure I will just have my mind blown when I go to England in April. Now that's some serious old. heh

Indeed it is. Enjoy every minute of it (even if the weather is total shite, which is normal)... and go to a pub or five for pete's sake!!
