Not bad, considering that I only had one episode to go off of…
This is part of the fad ~nillia started to fight OOC in fanfiction. It actually started in the Inuyasha fandom, but it spilled over into others (Go here to see them all) Including Danny Phantom. I fell in love with the idea when I saw it, so I had to so something, even though sacrifices had to be made (Sleep? Who needs sleep? Sleep is for the losers who don’t have slave drivers for muses…) Also, there are a few panels I want to explain…
Panel 3;
I got the impression that she’s one serious practical joker. Also, I picked Paulina as her victim since I can’t see those two getting along that well. They both like being the center of attention, especially when the attention is Danny’s (Well, Danny Phantom, anyways.) so those two are probably gonna butt heads before long.Panel 4; How about a little show of faith out there? I mean, sure she’s just a kid, but she struck me as being fairly competent. Just because Vlad tricked her doesn’t make her stupid. Vlad tricks everybody, in case you haven’t noticed.
Panel 5; I know what Dani has been through is really sad and all, but did it LOOK like she was flying off to find a nice quiet place to cry at the end of Kindred Spirits?!
Panel 6; Okay, maybe this one’s a little overdone, but you have to understand that both Dani and Vlad would both have to be seriously OOC to make peace with one another again.
Panel 7; WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!
Panel 8; I know she’s not as strong as Danny is, but I also think she’s too hardheaded to ever acknowledge that. At least out loud, at any rate…

EDIT! I changed the pictures. It was driving me insane since it was my most faved deviation, and I absolutely hated it because it was ugly and awkward and the characters didn't look right. XP

This is very nice! You seem to have Dani's personality down very well, which I applaud you for, since she only appeared in one episode. Your art is great - the characters look just like they're supposed to.
I'm working on a Vlad comic right now, actually, and I hope it's as good as this one.

Vlad has no interest in Dani anymore, so that's not likely to happen. He never saw her as much more then a tool, and now that she's 'outlived her usefullness' he'll probably forget he ever made her and move on to different plots.

I disagree with the ball of angst. I mean sure shes not going to be crying 24/7. But knowing you're a clone of someone and not your own person is going to cause some serious emotional damage that she's probably not going to be able to face. Not to mention she cant do much of anything without turning into a blob of goo. So that weak part has more of a basis then you think. And I think she is kinda Mary Sue-ish. She kinda came out of nowhere going "Omg! I'm your half ghost cousin! Lets be best friends

Actually, she struck me as being hopelessly optimisic and playful. She's got problems,yeah, but she's too stubborn to admit them to others, and she wants to deal with them on her own. True she's hurt at what Vlad did, and scared about turning to goo, but she's not avoiding using her powers altogether, she's just a little more aware of her limitations, hence the weak part. As for the Mary-Sue... A mary-sue is a FAN MADE character, too 'perfect' to be believable and lacking any true character flaws. Dani is a well rounded CANNON character.

I'm not trying to say she is a Mary-Sue, she just came off that way because she was just kinda shoved into our faces. I dunno, I'd feel more comfortable with her if we had another episode with her in it. Dont get me wrong, I like her and all, it just felt like the storyline was made up by a fan. Kinda like Half-Blood Prince, I swear I felt like I was reading a fanfic that entire book >>;
And ya she comes off playful and optimistic, but not hopelessly so, I mean she's Danny's clone, she has all the same interests as Danny and such, so thus I would assume her personality should be similar too, if just with a femine touch to it. So we look at My Brother's Keeper, he was a little blob of angst when he was doubting himself like that, thinking he was a freak. So I believe she would have a good chunk of depressing angsty moments, just not 24/7 obviously.
I'm just saying that some of these things have a basis. Obviously Dani isnt a damsel in distress or an emo kid, but its plausible for her to fall into those roles once and awhile.
Sorry, I dont really like these "[blank] is not..." things, they make me angry. Its like telling people they cant have creative liberaties. I even dont like bashing Mary and Gary sues just because thats what people want their character to be like. Who cares if you'll never meet that kind of person in your lifetime? Its their story, dont like it, dont read it I say.
And on a more positive note so this whole comment doesnt sound like I'm being a massive jerk, I really like your writing, I've got a couple of them saved in my bookmarks.

I think she did that on purpose, though, to confuse Danny and give him less time to be suspicious of her admittedly shakey story.
It's true that Danny has his angsty moments, but they come and pass in believable doses. I've read plenty of stories where Dani is overly angsty, to the point of being unbelievable. angst is okay in controlled quantities, but it gets annoying when it's overdone, and the character become OOC.
Honestly, that's the reason these Character Is things were made, not to discourage creativity, but to remind authors of a character's true nature, and to ask them to keep that in mind as they're writng. I'm all for creativity, but not at the expense of traits and quialities that make a character who they are.
It's okay, you don't sound like a jerk, just a person with thier own opinion.

A fan-made character that's too 'perfect' to be believable. She's the fan character that's gorgous, smart, popular.... usually falls for the main character right away, and in turn falls for him... it's also a term used for the fan-made characters that have the same unique problem as the main character (Like Danny's half ghost thing) only they're generally more powerful/exprienced. Most people consider these character annoying and uncreative.
