Introducing my latest project, The Mermaids of Alope - preparations for which spanned over a 4-month-long period(!) of constant research, designing, planning, and slaving over this and that. While enduring what seemed like endless trials and tribulations one right after the other (most of them last minute), this project nearly stole my sanity, I'll admit; but all in all I'm quite pleased with the results! But probably more than anything, I'm just SOO excited it's finally done and that I have something to show for all the effort and time I've poured into transforming this childhood dream of mine into a fantastic reality. :}
Soooo, without further ado, meet my Mermaids:

(Bottom from Left to Right) Katelyn, Sarah, Macy, Becca, and Kylie

These girls and the rest of my team were so patient and understanding, and worked so hard to make this shoot into everything I was trying to accomplish. I will never be able to repay the 20+ people who dedicated straight 13 hours of their personal time to this baby, even though I did a crazy thing and asked them to arrive at 1:45 in the morning and go till afternoon on the last day of summer before school started! They did it without complaining (most of them did anyway, haha), and gave the project all they had and more. SO, basically, they rock really hard.
