   Caspian was born to a poor family on Ordovona's port city. His first real memory of his parents was that of screaming and fighting. The fights would often escalate until his Ma would abandon the house, leaving his Pa in tears. When Caspian was 6, his Pa found work as a farmhand for a wealthy farmer and took Caspian to live with him in one of the bunk houses. Unfortunately, the only other child even close to his age was the wealthy farmer's son, Royce. Aside from that though, things were good.

   Though Caspian was too young for the demanding labour, his Pa and the other farmhands made use of him as an errand boy. When Caspian wasn't being sent off for errands, he would end up playing with Royce. Caspian never really liked Royce, but as Royce was the older and smarter of the two of them, Caspian would end up convinced that what Royce wanted to do was okay. They stole cookies from the pantry, trampled flowers in the garden, and would steal equipment from the private tool shed to scare the local wildlife. Caspian would often end up taking the taking the blame and punishment for the trouble they got into. As the years passed though, Caspian was given more work to become a farmhand like his Pa. Leaving less time to spend with Royce and thus keeping him out of trouble. However, a fight happened between Royce and Caspian making Royce's father furious. The wealthy farmer threatened to take away both Caspian's and his Pa's jobs if Caspian continued to stay. Thus, Caspian was sent home to his mother.

   Going back to live with his Ma wasn't exactly what Caspian had wanted for his 12th birthday. It was clear to Caspian when he came home that she wasn't happy to have him back either. The relationship with his Ma continued to go downhill as she had zero interest in taking care of Caspian, preferring the company of her alcohol. At first, he tried to help his Ma, but his attempts ended up with her screaming and verbally abusing him. Afterwards, Caspian mostly did his best to avoid her.

   For the next 4 years Caspian was left to fend for himself. While his Pa would send some money to them from time to time, his ma spent it all on alcohol, leaving nothing for food. Caspian ended up resorting to stealing produce from local vendors. One day Caspian managed to get the money his Pa sent before his Ma could get her hands on it. This infuriated his Ma and she raged at Caspian like she never had before and kicked him out of the house. Caspian was shocked and confused. He offered to give her the money if she'd let him back in. However, she would not budge. Caspian decided try his luck further into the heart of the port city. Though his reputation for being a thief proceeded him, leaving him no choice but to continue stealing.

   The day began like any other, hungry and cold. As Caspian scoped out the people for pockets to pick, a woman dressed in a blue coat caught his eye. Just as Caspian was about to get away with the woman's coin purse did she turn and gave him a soul piercing stare. Caspian responded to her stare with a curt smile and bolted, coin purse in hand. He planned to lose her at the docks. Little did Caspian know that the woman was a Navy Lieutenant for Ordovona's port city and got her men to join the chase. Caspian panicked, and in a last ditch attempt to get away he dove into the water and started to swim. The Lieutenant and her men got on a row boat to chase after him. To Caspian's own amazement, he managed to keep just out of reach of the rowboat. But only just. He and the rowboat continued going further out into the open ocean until suddenly the rowboat started to turn back. Caspian stopped swimming and looked up to see he was right next to a huge ship. Next thing he knew nets came down and hosted him onto the deck of the Tortuga. This was the beginning of Caspian's life as a pirate.

   Caspian has been on the Polaris Daybreak for two years now.
