Hey there,
This was my first drawing of 2018... Also the first time I ever drew any of the characters from The Lion King. 'Bout time! Seriously, I've always enjoyed the movie. I have a confession to make, I have never seen any of the sequels or prequels... However, I did see bits of the Timon and Pumbaa TV show but I don't remember much of it.
I think I've always preferred seeing young Simba on screen over grown-up Simba but I felt it was just right drawing the adult Simba here. I just had to add Zazu in there because I like Zazu. I think he had a very good day here or he ate something he shouldn't have, seeing as he's smiling as Simba, Timon & Pumbaa are singing.
