“Nice shirt,” said the doctor as she helped me ease into the examination chair.

“Thanks,” I responded sarcastically. “My mom got it for me. She still thinks this is all a big joke.”

“Heh, well, hyperfertility’s definitely no joke, but can you blame her for being excited? She’s gonna be a grandmother after all.”

I sighed heavily and looked down at my enormous baby bump. “I guess not. It’s just… it’s not fair, you know? I’m only twenty-three and here I am, pregnant with more babies than most girls would have in several lifetimes, all because my boyfriend was too lazy to go buy condoms and thought he could pull out in time.”

The doctor smirked. “Well in his defense, the ultra-potent pheromones in your sweat probably had something to do with it too.”

“Yeah, yeah… I know. Even with this ridiculous belly he can hardly keep his hands off me. He won’t admit it, but I think he actually prefers me like this, so pregnant I can barely walk.”

“I hear that a lot actually. I bet he thinks he’s quite the stud for doing this to you, hehe.”
